The small book was advertising give away from Valley Hardware Co., Harrisonburg, Va. The book measures 5″x 2.5″. The front cover has a small stain, which transfers through slightly to the first couple of blank pages. Most of the memo book is blank lined pages, approx 20 pages. At the end there are 5-6 pages about the fencing material and styles of fencing offered by Royal Fence products, with a small calendar of 1911/1912 inside the back cover. Valley Hardware ink stamp on the bottom of the back cover. American Fence Memorandum Book American Steel & Wire Co Calendar July Used 1919 American Memo Book # 4033 from July, 1919. The calendar in the book shows July, 1919 through December 1920. Advertising on the back for C.A. Fountain of Middlesex, NY. Book shows age and use, it looks its age with the cover roughed up, creasing, markings, scuffs, some fading. Staples corroded. Some writing present inside along with number additions and some page creasing inside. Page toning and foxing present. Most pages are blank, 36 pages total. Booklet is smaller and measures about 5″ x 2.75″.
