Vintage Barred Plymouth Rocks Framed Poultry Print Edwin Megargee No Glass As Is

Vintage/Antique wood frame, brown and black mingled overlay finish. The print (may be a page from a magazine or could be an actual print, I didn’t remove it from the frame to see). It depicts 2 beautiful (in the poultry world) black and white speckled Barred Plymouth Rocks, both a hen and a rooster. This is done by famous animal illustrator/artist Edwin Megargee. The print is in fair to good condition. It may have some slight fading, discoloration or yellowing. There are 2 spots in particular that stand out, both on the rooster. There are some other minor spots, stains, soiling and age wear. The glass is missing from the frame so there is nothing over the print. The frame has a pretty rich merle pattern but it has lots of scrapes, scratches, chips, and dings. There is brown cardboard covering the back side with a wire across the back to hang it up. The print has the artist signature and date looks like 1910 but I’m not totally sure. Aprox 6 1/2” x 8 1/4 x 1”
