Antique original 1903 B. F. Avery & Sons, Manufacturers of Plows & Cultivating Implements, Buggies and Wagons, Dallas, Texas A letter to Diamond Hardware Co. in South McAlester, I. T. (Indian Territory Oklahoma) about a rail carload of wagons and plow goods en route. 8 1/2 by 10 3/4 inches Excellent condition. Please see photos for condition. Guaranteed old and original.

VINTAGE FARMERS CO-OP COTTON GIN CHILDRESS TEXAS EMBROIDERED COWBOY HAT BAND?

THIS LISTING DOES NOT INCLUDE A HAT. Offered here is a vintage strip of cloth sewn into a band. One side pictures two cotton bolls, and is embroidered: « FARMERS CO-OP GIN CHILDRESS, TEXAS. » (Childress is a small town of about 7,000 resident. It is located in the Texas Panhandle.) I’m not exactly sure WHAT the intended use for this originally was, but my best « GUESS » is that this is a hat band for a western / cowboy hat.(?) One picture above shows in on a hat, but THE HAT S NOT INCLUDED. It has a little soiling and fading, but still displays very nicely. When laid flat (as seen in the first picture) it measures 11 & 3/4 inches long and 2 & 1/4 inches wide. It fits securely around the base of an adult sized cowboy hat. It appears to « have some age on it, » and is guaranteed to be old to your satisfaction. I could not find another example in my online searching. I am here to help you with any questions!
