We offer this 19th century advertising folder from the Higganum Mfg. Corporation of Higganum, Connecticut. The folder, opening to 3 panels (6 pages), advertises the Hollingsworth Improved Monitor Rake, The best Self and Hand Dump Rake in the market, Dumps from Both Wheels. Warehouse; 38 South Market St. Boston, Mass. The folder is dated (in the text) 1881. The folder closed measures 3-1/2 x 5-1/4 inches. When open there are six pages, (3 panels printed on both sides). There are two engravings of the rake by Murray, one shown in operation. There is a vertical crease on the left side likely from mailing. There is a corner crease top right. Light wear toning.
