Scarce original circa 1918 poster for farmers and watermelon growers, by the United States Department of Agriculture, Bureau of Plant Industry: « Treat Watermelon Stems To Stop Stem-End Rot. » Measures 16 x 20-1/2 inches. Very good condition (never hung or mounted). I dated it circa 1918 because it references « Farmer’s Bulletin 821, » which was issued in May of 1917. We combine shipping. Mast & Co., Buckeye Agricultural Implements in Springfield, Ohio. This letter is to a lawyer about a case against them. The size is about 8 1/2  » x 11 « , it is in very nice condition, just the normal folds, a tiny chip on top right corner, a bit of rust at top left corner from a paper clip, and some kind of light mark at top right corner, and would be a nice addition to a document, implement, or Springfield collection.
