Lot of 12 U.S. Department of Agriculture Farmers Bulletins from 1930’s. All related to farming, agriculture, erosion, environmental concerns, growing fruit, canning and more. Most have the farmers’ name inscribed in pencil. Some bulletins are in good condition, some are not. All seem complete but are dirty from storage (the are almost 100 years old!) Please see pictures. Vintage 101 Ideas…To Successful Farming Booklet 1939. Worn, but wow. Incredibly resourceful information on farming, circa 1930s from the former Secretary Of Agriculture under Harding. Edwin T. Meredith, Iowa, He was succeeded by Henry C. Wallace at the start of Warren G. Harding's administration in 1921, and he returned to publishing. He bought the Dairy Farmer in 1922, and later started Fruit, Garden, and Home, which he later renamed Better Homes and Gardens.
