1891 Clayton Mfg. Co. Honest Automatic Grain Measure farming brochure

One of several dozens listings of farming, tractor and thresher catalogs and price lists dating from the late 1800’s-1940’s, all from the same estate. All are original and there are no reproductions. 8 pages on thin glossy stock. I can not find a specific date, but the multitude of testimonials are all dated 1890. Includes a Victorian trade card of the company adhered to the first page. Measures 5 3/4″ x 8 1/4″. Fair condition with crude spine binding, some staining, heavy spine wear, etc.. Nice example. This is a neat little 32 page seed catalog titled « The Gardener’s Handbook. » It was put out by the Geo. W. Park Seed Co. of Greenwood, South Carolina. While it advertises lots of seeds, it also contains information about growing conditions and care for plants such as Dahlias and Delphiniums. It has black and white photo illustrations and is 5 & 1/2″ by 4″. There are bent corners and it is bound with staples.
