Vintage WEST VIRGINIA GROWN Gus Douglass WV Dept Agriculture Hand Fan Cow Ad

This is a unique vintage hand fan advertising « WEST VIRGINIA GROWN » featuring a stylized cow head illustration. The fan also promotes « GUS R. DOUGLASS COMMISSIONER WV DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE. » It’s a charming piece of agricultural advertising history from West Virginia, likely distributed at a fair or event. The fan is made of cardstock with a wooden handle. It measures approximately 11.5 inches long from the tip of the handle to the top of the fan, with the circular fan portion being about 7 inches in diameter. The item is in good condition with minor signs of age and handling consistent with its vintage nature. A great addition for collectors of agricultural memorabilia, West Virginia history, or vintage advertising.
