1934 Goldbank Giant Bronze Turkey Brochure Bird Bros Meyersdale Poultry Vintage

This is a vintage original 1934 brochure on the Goldbank Giant Bronze strain of turkey issued by the Bird Bros. turkey breeders of Meyersdale, Pennsylvania.  This brochure is a four page pamphlet format measuring about 8.5” x 11” per page.  This brochure is illustrated with a few photos and has lots of detailed information on these Goldbank Turkeys and the various Goldbank flocks the company was maintaining for 1934.       The Bird Bros. where important figures in the history of American turkey husbandry and their Goldbank Giant Bronze Turkeys are considered among the finest heritage breeds according to an article appearing in the Wall Street Journal in 2011.    This vintage original brochure is fully complete and in very good condition with slight handling wear, modest toning and light foxing in places.  Email any questions.  Thanks for looking.   Payment Terms Winning bidders will receive an email directly from eBay at the end of the auction or after purchasing a fixed price item. Jamesway Poultry Supply Dealer Letter & Ad 1940s Nests Waterers Feeders Mt Joy

This is an original 1940s sales letter and advertising flyer from James Mfg. Co. for their Jamesway line of poultry equipment. The two-piece set includes a letter to dealers announcing new products from their Mount Joy, PA plant and a flyer detailing square hole nests and round pan waterers. The letter mentions the scarcity of galvanized steel, strongly indicating production during the World War II era. This ephemera is in excellent condition for its age, with original mailing folds and light toning, perfect for a collection of agricultural advertising.

I have a large inventory of vintage paper: auto manuals, military paper, railroad stuff, food and recipe paper, political pamphlets, oddball magazines, entertainment paper — just about any paper you can think of. Some of it is in perfect shape and some is in rough condition. Things to look out for in the photos are page yellowing, corner bumping, rips and tears, handwriting, etc. — normal flaws in old paper.
