Snapper was known for pioneering the world’s first self-propelled rotary lawn mower. Additionally, their innovation extends to high-quality rear-engine riding lawnmowers designed to stand upright for convenient storage or maintenance. The store opened in 1903 under the name J. W. Quackenbush’s, selling farm implements, hardware, and horse-drawn vehicles. The store closed in 1980. The folder is not dated but may date to about 1932 (based on some online ads in newspapers that use the same slogan: “The Modern Way to Home Beauty”).The clothing styles of the two women pictured would be consistent with that period. This small folder measures 3-1/4” x 6” (closed). When opened, it measures about 9-3/4” x 10-1/2”.
