Antique Cushman Motor Works Lincoln, Nebraska Brass Nameplate circa 1910’s

This is an antique original brass nameplate dating roughly back to 1914 to 1919 from the Cushman Motor Works Company of Lincoln, Nebraska. As the nameplate states, this would have been for a Cushman Model C, 4 horsepower stationary farm engine. This model was famous across farms throughout the Midwest and was specifically engineered to mount directly onto heavy, horse-drawn grain and corn binders to drive the cutting mechanisms. This motor was much lighter than the massive cast iron engines of its time. The nameplate has some normal wear but is really good antique condition as the pictures show and measures 3″ across and 1.625″ high.
