This is an original advertising parade saddle (I believe for a goat) from the 1880s, featuring Footer’s Dye Works of Cumberland, Maryland. Brass letters on both sides on black leather. This unique and antique piece would be a great addition to any collection focusing on early American “Industrial Revolution” advertising or American history. 12 1/2” wide x 21” (one side is roughly 10” tall) Excellent condition!
