Here's a VERY UNCOMMON 4 1/4" wide by 6" tall multi-paged advertising booklet from the 1900-1910s touting the use of "Formaldehyde" for use in farming & at home issued by a Stanford, Illinois company- The cover is titled: "Formaldehyde. Its uses upon the farm and in the home- particularly in treating diseases of potatoes and oats." with a stamp from "Ferdinand C. Schapper 192 North Clark St. Chicago, Ill." on front & another stamp from "M. Gerbrick, Stanford, Illinois" on the back- No pictures but TONS of great info and history about the uses of this deadly compound listed in detail inside- Has only light wear-A great historic item that would display so nicely!
