1874 Leavitt’s Farmers Almanac Exeter NH Facts + How to Train a Heifer

This is an 1874 « Leavitt’s Farmer’s Almanac. » It was published to advertise Geo. E. Lane, Books and Stationery, Water Street, Exeter, New Hampshire. It has the usual phases of the moon and weather followed by information about the courts in New Hampshire which is directly followed by an article titled « Training a Heifer. » It is about 7 & 3/4″ by 4 & 3/4″ with its original string at the top left corner. It has some little tears and light normal wear. It is complete with 48 pages of information.

1874 CHAMPION Machinery FARM Promissory Note SPRINGFIELD OH Antique Advertising

Antique original 1874 promissory note and 1876 advertising billhead receipt. Champion Machine Company, Manufacturers of the Champion Reaping & Mowing Machines – CHampion Harvesting Machines, Springfield, O. Promissory note is 8 1/4 by 3 3/8 inches. Billhead is 8 1/2 by 6 7/8 inches. Billhead is in very good condition with some browning. Promissory note has a cut that is taped on the back. Please see photos for condition.
