This is an 1874 "Leavitt's Farmer's Almanac." It was published to advertise Geo. E. Lane, Books and Stationery, Water Street, Exeter, New Hampshire. It has the usual phases of the moon and weather followed by information about the courts in New Hampshire which is directly followed by an article titled "Training a Heifer." It is about 7 & 3/4" by 4 & 3/4" with its original string at the top left corner. It has some little tears and light normal wear. It is complete with 48 pages of information.
